The Crib
2008 August 27
On Monday the crib was delivered. I called Dave to tell him that I checked the tracking site, and that the crib had been delivered. He was super excited to put it together. He had to “go home early to get some supplies for work”. He called later to tell me that when he saw the crib box, he couldn’t help himself. He stayed home from work for the rest of the day to put the crib together. He makes me laugh
So here are the pictures! We love the crib, but the “drawer” underneath just sits there and already broke. Dave had to glue it back together, and I doubt that we’ll use it. We got a great deal, and the crib itself is very sturdy. Slowly but surely we’re getting the room put together!!

The room is looking good! I love how Dave couldn’t resist the urge to assemble the crib. I probably would’ve done the same thing myself
Love the crib and the room! How exciting! Everything is coming together!
You guys did a great job with the room. looks like such a fun space. oh, and the crib looks good to.

I love all of your baby room pics. It is coming together so nicely. Staying home from work to put a crib together sounds like a great excuse to me.
Love it, love it, love it. Will have to see it in person soon
Awww! To cute! Can’t wait to pictures of E in the crib. Yay!
Rachel, the room is really coming together. The crib looks great. Just imagine, in no time he will be home and will be trying to crawl out of the crib. I can’t wait until you will be sharing those stories!
The room is soooo adorable, and very creative. I’m so excited for you guys. The crib that we had also had one of those drawers…it was nice when A was really little to store extra bedding, and stuff; but when he got older it was just one more thing for him to get into. We used ours under OUR bed to put stuff in. But eventually after putting it back together so many times we ended up throwing it out….CONGRATULATIONS
Thanks for the compliments on the crib and the room, and the congratulations from everyone! I can take zero credit for any of it. Dave has done a great job of getting everything together!!
Suze, I also can’t wait to see Eze in the crib. Renee, I can’t wait to blog about Eze stories. I just know they’ll be cute and funny and all that good stuff! Cherice, not a bad idea to put it under our bed!! Our storage space is limited, so that might be helpful.
